The HP-3 Small Block Plane is a small low angle plane that produces BIG results! Using a tool sized for the job is one of the paramount lessons in successful woodworking. HP-3 Small Low Angle Plane is ideal for the myriad of tasks in your woodshop that are better served by a smaller plane.

With an overall length of under 4", and a cutting width of just under 1", the HP-3 is an amazing tool for thinner edges and flush trimming. The iron is cryogenically treated and hardened (Rc 60-20) A2 tool steel, and the back is lapped to a RMS .5 finish. It's ready to use right out of the box.

The body is precisely milled 360 brass alloy as is the plane iron cap,
